DVI-I is the combined analog and digital DVI signal output by video sources, such as the DVI video cards present on some computers. This compact adapter extracts the analog video portion of a DVI-I signal and converts it to analog SVGA (on a HD15 Connector).
Connect the DVI input side of the Adapter to the video output of your source. Connect your display's video cable to the SVGA output side of the Adapter on its HD15 connector. Make sure your source device is set to output analog video. Your SVGA display will now show the proper signal. Note: VGA Extension cables are available from Gefen to extend the distance from your source to the display device. Please see the Related Products at left for more information.
