    DataComm Electronics' Recesses Low Voltage Mid-Size Plate with Duplex Receptacle/Duplex Surge Suppressor is designed to streamline power and cable managements behind your HDTV.

    • Metal mounting wings attached to the media plate and fasten tightly against the back of the wall.
    • Flexible screen closes the interior opening of the low voltage pass through.

    Use all of the three mid-size plates below in conjunction with the Mid-Size Rough-In Bracket (part #45-0101) for new construction applications.

    Professional installation is highly recommended and may be required. Use of certain devices connected and installed inside the expandable media box will require the use of additional equipment and/or programming (sold separately). Devices with RF (Radio Frequency) remote capabilities, Wi-Fi network control and/or CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) over HDMI® capabilities will require the use of one or more features enabled to function properly. Additionally, the use of an Infrared Repeater device or additional Universal Remote Control with RF capabilities (sold separately) will likely be required for devices without RF Remote, Wi-Fi control or CEC capabilities. Do not attempt to install devices in the expandable box if you are not familiar with requirements referenced above and are not prepared to purchase and install additional equipment.


    Devices with Wi-Fi network control, Radio Frequency (RF) remote capabilities, and Bluetooth control capabilities are most suited for use in the Expandable Media Box. Media Streaming Devices installed inside the Expandable Media Box can be controlled in a variety of ways such as over an Wi-Fi/Ethernet cable, Bluetooth, and Radio Frequency (RF).
