S2-106AD may function as a standalone routing switcher/audio processor or be connected to any of the C2-1000/2000 Series products to provide six additional differential audio inputs. The user controls audio sampling frequencies and up to 999ms of adjustable audio delay. The unit has numerous choices for Audio I/O connector types depending on user preference. The S2-106AD connects to the C2 unit via an OPTION interconnect cable and is fully integrated into the control system of the host C2 Scaler/Switcher.

Multiple S2 units of different formats may be interfaced to a single C2 product, however, only one of any given format may be connected. The Windows Control Panel recognizes the C2 unit and all the connected S2 units as a single Multi-format Seamless Switcher. This fully customizable approach allows the user to choose the appropriate C2-1000/2000 Switcher/Scaler and the S2 Switchers to achieve the desired number of inputs. As well as the S2-106AD, S2 Switchers are available in a variety of other formats. The units are housed in desktop cases and optional Single/Dual Rackmount Kits are available. A single 5-Input S2 unit can be powered via the host C2 unit’s OPTION Interconnect Cable, which also supplies control. External power adapters are provided for the additional S2 units connected to the C2. Standalone Operation - S2 Series Switchers can also operate as standalone Video and Audio Routing Switchers. Input selection is by front panel Push Buttons, IR Remote Control or via RS-232.
