CAT5/5e Wall Plate -- In White or Ivory

Gefen's economical and practical CAT5/CAT5e wall plates provide a convenient and ideal solution for terminating installations of CAT5/CAT5e cables within your building. They pass all analog and digital signals with perfect preservation of the original signal for networking and AV signal extension purposes.

The CAT5/CAT5e wall plate is made to fit into a standard US wall mount hole in an identical manner as AC outlets or light switches.

How It Works
Run your CAT5/5e cable in-wall from your source location to the destination. At the destination, create a wall mount hole for the new wall plate. Fish the extended CAT5/5e cable(s) through the opening and plug the RJ45 cable heads into the metal jacks on the rear of the wall plate. Install the wall plate into its mounting hole and tighten all screws. You'll now have a ready CAT5/CAT5e connection at the wall whenever you want it, enabling a neat and flexible installation.

Note: Gefen CAT5 wall plates can be used with all Gefen CAT5 extender products regardless of the type, even those which we normally advise not to use with wall plates. These special wall plates are designed to preserve continuity of signal and maintain signal robustness when used with Gefen CAT5-based extenders.
