While it may bear a striking resemblance to another sphere that has taken the microphone world by storm, the 8-Ball resembles its circular cousin the Ball in looks alone. Featuring Blue’s highly regarded Class A discrete low noise amplifier circuit, the 8-Ball’s smooth frequency response is sure to please even the most discerning professional ear. Perfect for applications as varied as male or female vocals, drum overheads or acoustic guitars, the 8-Ball will quickly become one of your “go to” microphones.
