The KanexPro USB  Extender is designed to share USB peripheral devices distantly located up to 150 feet (45.7m) from the host computer using a single CAT5e/6 cable without external power. The extender incorporates a transmitter and a receiver, which are connected using the standard CAT5e cable. Both units are powered through the host PC.

It uses the patented ASIC technology that conditions the USB signals to communicate up to 150 feet using low-cost Cat 5e/6 cable. Ideal for applications that requires remote location of USB peripherals such as keyboards, mice, printers, cameras, external storage or digital signage media and other USB devices.

This professional USB extender is optimized for a variety of installation environments including classrooms, lecture halls, universities and training facilities where USB implementation is critical.
