Planet Waves Custom Install Cable System
The Planet Waves Instant Interconnect System: is designed for the custom installer and allows quick assembly of custom length, HD cables for audio and video applications. All Planet Waves connectors are reusable and affix to Planet Waves cable without stripping, crimping, soldering, or special tools. Use the same cable for multiple signal, both audio and video, simplifying the install process and the inventory you need to keep on hand.
One Cable For All Signal Types:
There's no need to worry about which connector fits which cable, All ZM, ST and BC Series connectors are designed to work with all of the PRE-Wire, Finishing and Plenum coaxial cables!
Coaxial Cables:
HD Finishing Wire is designed for rack lacing and other exposed drops between devices, monitors, etc.
PRE-WIRE was developed for in-wall use.
PLENUM WIRE is for use on all commercial and highly regulated residential jobs, since this cable is rated to national regulations for areas defined as plenum space.
ZM Series is a 2-Piece Modular connector and a premium choice for those seeking the highest quality materials combined with the simplest, error-proof termination technique.
ST Series is 1-Piece design; featuring all gold-plated contacts and a black chrome shell.
BC Series is a 1-Piece design, featuring all nickel plated contacts and a standard chrome shell. Offering similar functionality to the ST Series at a lower price.
WALL-PLATE SYSTEM
Featuring Decora™ styling, each wall plate utilizes Planet Waves’ 2-Piece reusable connector technology, securing the insert between the connector base and tip.
