The M1-100 is a full 125 Mpixel 7-fiber optical implementation
of the DVI standard that supports all VESA modes up to SXGA
(1280x1024p) at 75Hz refresh. The DDC is fully functional up to 500m
(1,640ft) allowing both PC EDID and HDTV HDCP parameters to flow at
bi-directional data rates between the display peripheral and host
device.

M1-100 supports up to SXGA (1280X1024) at 75Hz refresh rate
It is applicable to Digital display systems interconnection for Home
Theater, medical, military, aero, factory, and traffic control
Digital FPDs, PDPs and projectors in conference room and auditorium
Kiosk with digital FPDs Color LED signboards, FPDs and PDPs for
information display and stadiums.

Optical Graphic Extension, packaged by 7-channels VCSEL and PD modules,
is in compliance with DVI and extends up to 500 meters. The M1-100
is used for applications ranging from multimedia A/V and medical
imaging to more diverse applications such as animated 3D outdoor
signs and distributed flat panel message boards in public
transportation and industrial environments.
The M1-100U Graphic Extension cable is point-to-point and consists of
transmitter and
receiver circuitry enclosed with standard DVI-D single-link connectors.

Note for Mac users: The Apple G3/G4/G5 products may have an ADC
connector which can be split into DVI and USB and power,
Unfortunately, the DVI connector is not "true" DVI-D as it is
missing +5V on pin 14 which can cause a problem with this product
(and others).
