This unique fiber optic IEEE1394 Repeater extends any IEEE1394
device up to 1640 feet (500 Meters). Due to the nature of digital
signals, the copper based IEEE1394 cables can extend only to 12
feet. Our extension system uses fiber optical conversion
technology to extend IEEE1394 signals up to 1640 feet.
