Extend HDMI over CAT6a cables -- up to 150 feet (50m)

The GefenTV Extender for HDMI 1.3 over CAT6 extends HDMI over two CAT6a cables and supports HDMI 1.3 features such as Deep Color, 1080p Full HD and compressed lossless 7.1 audio. DVI-D Computer video can also be extended when using a DVI-to-HDMI cable, optionally available.

By using standard CAT6A cable, the GefenTV Extender for HDMI 1.3 over CAT6 makes HDMI signal extensions easier to install within a room or through walls. The Extender's pure digital transmission method insures 100% signal integrity over long distances.

How It Works
The GefenTV Extender for HDMI 1.3 over CAT6 system consists of a sender and a receiver unit. An HDMI source such as a set-top box, DVD player, or gaming console connects to the Sender unit with the supplied HDMI cable. The Receiver unit connects to the extended HDTV display. Two CAT6a cables link the GefenTV Extender for HDMI 1.3 over CAT6 Sender and Receiver units, up to 200 feet apart. Power is applied to both the Sender and the Receiver units with the included 5V DC power supplies and a crisp, flawless picture emerges on the HDTV display along with pristine multichannel digital audio.

Note:
This device is an HDCP pass-through device.

GefenTV Extender for HDMI 1.3 over CAT6 can also use CAT5e cables, but will be limited to shorter extension distances.
