The two main factors to consider with Component Video Switchers are the additional signals (generally audio) you want switched along with the video and the level of quality you require.
Choose between Stereo audio analog switching and Digital Audio RCA connector or optical Toslink switching. Some Switches offer both.
As far as Quality levels, you get what you pay for.
