An Audio Video Balun allows extension over long lengths using CAT5 Cable
Baluns convert your Audio/Video signals into balanced signals and optimize them to run for long lengths over CAT5e/Cat6 cable. A second balun at the receiver converts the sign back to the original type of signal for connecting to your audio or video equipment.
Two(2) baluns are required, please purchase in pairs.
You should do your best to match baluns by buying in pairs or using two baluns that were designed to work together. Using improperly matched baluns will cause higher signal noise levels as well as other forms of distortion.
