Expander designed for the SixDrive (1171BK or AVM-71).

Adds six additional outputs to Model 1171BK. The Model 1170BK Cat 5 outputs deliver identical audio and video to six wallplate/receivers in remote locations. The outputs are not matrixed - only one source is possible with the 1170BK. To expand matrixed output from an AVAtrix, use model 1176BK.

It's easy to expand your SixDrive Cat 5 Distribution system to any size, up to 42 outputs. Simply stack 1170BK Expanders with the main Cat 5 driver and connect additional wallplate/receivers. See the PDF Installation Manual for details.

Cat 5 Wallplate/Receiver Options
Choose from three different receiver styles: a single-gang Decora wallplate, a dual-gang stainless steel wallplate, and a breakout box. Wallplates are easy to install in a standard electrical box, while the breakout box can be mounted on any flat surface. Two Cat 5 cables deliver component video, digital audio and analog audio to each receiver. The 3.5mm IR jack provides a convenient pathway for a third party IR remote distribution network over the Cat 5 pathway. Use compatible IR receivers and emitters (see 1171 manual). IR receiver and emitter equipment not included.
