XLR Adapters

XLR Adapters - Connect XLR Jacks and Plugs to RCA, 1/4", 3.5mm, 1/8" Connectors and Cables, common audio connectors for PA and recording
Standard Wiring for a XLR is Pin 3 is negative or "cold", pin 2 is positive or "hot", and pin 3 is ground. So a standard XLR to mono 3.5mm or 1/4" jack is XLR pin 2 to the Tip of the 1/4" or 3.5mm connector, and pin 1 and 3 to the sleeve. If the 1/4" or 3.5mm is a stereo connector it gets more interesting. If the connection to the 1/4" or 3.5 is mono, then only the tip and sleeve will make contact. If the device uses tip, ring and sleeve, then you really need a pinout to figure out how you want to wire it up.
