The SB-5688 is a high-performance routing matrix switcher for HDMI signals. This switcher supports data rates up to 6.75 Gbps, enabling 1080p HDMI formats and UXGA DVI resolution to all display applications. The 8x8 Matrix Switcher routes any high definition video source plus multi-channel (up to 7.1) digital audio from any of the 8 HDMI sources to the any 8 displays at the same time. Because it is a matrix switcher, it allows any input to be routed to any output; or the same input to be routed to all outputs, or any combination. The SB-5688 is certified as being fully HDMI and HDCP compliant, with RoHS, CE, FCC compliance. It supports high resolution quality HDMI sources matrixed to HDMI displays, monitors or projectors. Control is provided via front panel buttons with LED readout or IR remote controll. An RS-232 interface is also provided for interfacing with third party controllers. A windows-based control software package is included to provide switching of the SB-5688 from a PC.
