Features and Specifications
• Our 1615E uses the new ExpressCard slot on your notebook computer replacing the CardBus PC Card slot. It enables you to take advantage of the high-speed performance offered by the new PCI Express technology
• Two (2) 800Mbps FireWire/1394b ports (FireWire 800) on an ExpressCard/34 module
• An ExpressCard/34 module (34 mm wide) can fit into either a Universal or 34 mm ExpressCard slot. If an ExpressCard/34 module is inserted into an Universal slot, the internal guidance feature gently directs the module over to engage the connectors
• Comes with two (2) 9-pin standard connectors
• Ideal connection for high performance external CD/DVD writers, hard disk drives, RAID storage enclosures, and etc.
• With an option to add a power adapter to ensure sufficient power supply to external power-hungry bus-powered devices (an AC/DC power adapter*1)
• Supports up to 63 devices in peer-to-peer configuration
• Supports 100/200/400/800 Mbit/sec transfer rate
• Supports 32-bit & 64-bit Windows® 2000/XP/Server 2003/Vista/Server 2008/Windows 7 and future Windows® OS platform
• Supports Mac OS 10.4.x or later
• Complies with 1394a/1394b & Open Host Controller Interface (OHCI) 1.1/1.2 specifications
• Fully compliant with the lastest PCMCIA ExpressCard standard
• Fully Plug-N-Play and Hot-Swap compatible

PC Requirements:
• PC or laptop computer with 256MB of RAM and 1GHz or faster processor
• One (1) available Universal or 34 mm ExpressCard slot
• 32-bit or 64-bit Windows® 2000/XP/Server 2003/Vista/Server 2008/Windows 7 or later

Mac Requirements:
• MacBook Pro with Mac OS 10.4.x or later
• One (1) available Expresscard/34 slot

*1 Optional AC power adapter, ADAPTER-3, is required if your FireWire 800 (FW800) devices are bus-powered.
