Overview

Each 1176BK expander increases the output capacity of an AVM-562 system by six Cat 5 outputs. A single system can include up to 36 wallplate/receiver outputs. The 1176BK connects to the AVM-562 via an internal ribbon bus cable. The AVM-562 factory-installed bus cable (Model 802-567) has two open ports that can be used for 1176BK or 1172BK Expanders. If more than two Expanders are required, use Model AVM-562E, which inclues a longer bus cable with five open ports.
